Privacy Policy — United Mazes of America

The short version

United Mazes of America does not collect your personal information. There are no accounts to create, no ads, no tracking, and no analytics. We don't run any servers, and nothing you do in the app is sent to us. Your progress stays on your device (and, if you choose, in your own Apple iCloud).

We made this app for kids, and we built it to be safe and private by default.

We do not collect personal information

The app has no sign-up and no user accounts. We do not collect, store, or transmit names, email addresses, locations, contacts, photos, or any other personal information to us or to anyone else.

We also do not use:

  • advertising or ad networks,

  • analytics or usage-tracking tools,

  • crash-reporting or marketing SDKs,

  • the device's advertising identifier (IDFA), or

  • any third-party software development kits that collect data.

The app makes no network connections of its own to our servers, because we don't operate any.

Information that stays on your device

To make the game work, the app saves things on your device, such as:

  • your maze and adventure progress, stamps, medals, and ranks,

  • the explorer name a player types in (a nickname for the game), and

  • settings and preferences (sounds, input mode, and which tips you've seen).

This information lives on your device. We can't see it, and it is never sent to us.

iCloud sync (optional, provided by Apple)

If you are signed in to iCloud, the app can sync your progress and explorer name to your own private Apple iCloud account so it follows you across your Apple devices. This uses Apple's iCloud (Key-Value Storage). The data stays in your iCloud account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to it. You can turn iCloud off for the app in your device's iCloud settings.

Game Center (optional, provided by Apple)

The app may use Apple Game Center for features like leaderboards. Game Center is an Apple service; any data it uses is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. You can sign out of or disable Game Center in your device settings.

Purchases

The app may offer a one-time in-app purchase to unlock the full app. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see or receive your payment card or billing information. Purchase handling is covered by Apple's terms and privacy policy.

Children's privacy

This app is intended for children and the whole family, and we follow the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone — including children — we do not knowingly gather data from children, and there is no behavioral advertising or tracking of any kind. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will address it promptly (though by design the app provides us no way to receive it).

We never sell or share your data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information, because we do not collect any.

Links and contacting us

The app may include links to our website or a support email address. These open outside the app; we encourage parents to supervise children when following links or sending email.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles information, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
