Core Intercept — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
Core Intercept does not collect, store or share any personal information.
No data collection
The game does not use analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting services, and it does not send any information to the developer. It makes no network requests of its own.
On your device only
Your progress, scores, three-letter callsign and settings are saved only on your device, in the app’s own storage, with a backup copy also kept in the app’s own storage. Both are included in your device’s normal backup. Deleting the app deletes them. Nothing is uploaded to the developer or to any third party.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, your achievements and leaderboard scores are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. The game works fully without Game Center.
Purchases
The optional in-app purchase, Rooftop Clearance, is processed entirely by Apple. The developer never receives your payment details or any information about you.
Photos
If you choose to save a Daily Night result card, the game adds that one image to your photo library. It never reads your photos.
Children
Because no information is collected from anyone, the game is suitable for players of all ages.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.

Core Intercept — Support and FAQ
CONTACT
Something broken, or a question this page doesn’t answer?
Email contact+ci@unitedmazesofamerica.com. Say which iPhone or iPad and iOS version you’re on, and the night number if it happened in play. Every message gets read; most get answered within a couple of days.
HOW TO PLAY
What am I supposed to do?
Cores are falling on New Orange City. Tap the sky and the nearest of your three rooftop batteries fires; a bloom of light opens where you tapped, and anything inside it is destroyed. Stop the cores before they reach the rooftops. Survive the night and the next one begins.
The bloom doesn’t open where my thumb is.
By default it opens a little above your touch, so your thumb never hides it. If you’d rather it opened exactly under your finger, change AIM in Settings to UNDER THUMB.
What’s a chain?
A core destroyed by a bloom bursts into a small bloom of its own, which can catch the next one. Catch a swarm high and one shot can take out several. Chains score more and fill OVERDRIVE faster.
Why did my battery stop firing?
Either it’s out of shots (each battery refills between nights) or it overheated. Fire one battery too fast and it locks for a moment; spread your shots across all three.
What are the bigger shots?
Hold your thumb on the sky to charge a big shot; it costs two shots. When the OVERDRIVE meter on the deck fills, tap it and every battery fires at once, free, for a few seconds.
What are the capsules?
Catch a capsule in a bloom to collect it. Supplies act at once; special weapons and helper bots go into the tray under the deck. Tap a tray slot to arm it, then tap the sky to use it. The in-game Briefing (main menu) has a page on every one.
Who are the Warden and Deblon?
The Warden is an armored drone that comes on night 5 of every district. Break its plates, then its core, and expect it to hit back. God-Emperor Deblon arrives on night 10 of every district. He can’t be destroyed, only driven back: his shield opens while he attacks, and blooms that land then repel him. He learns a new attack as the siege goes on.
It’s getting really hard.
It’s meant to. A few things help: catch threats high, while they’re bunched, so chains do the work; don’t spend all three batteries on one core; save a tray weapon for a swarm; and keep OVERDRIVE for an emergency. If a night is going badly, pause and RESTART NIGHT.
What is the Daily Night?
One seeded night per day, the same for everyone in the world, changing at midnight UTC. Wednesdays run a special rule. Your best score goes to its own Game Center leaderboard, clearing it daily builds a streak, and you can share your result card.
Does it end at night 100?
Night 100 is the last night of the siege. Hold it, and the time loop does not let go: the Echo begins, and the nights keep coming with their rules bent.
THE PURCHASE
What’s free and what’s paid?
Nights 1-20 and the Daily Night are free, forever, with no ads. One optional purchase, Rooftop Clearance, opens night 21 and everything after it, lets you start from any night you’ve reached, and adds three city themes. Nothing in it changes difficulty, scoring or leaderboards.
I bought it but the game still stops at night 20.
Open REQUISITION from the main menu and tap RESTORE PURCHASES. That reads your purchase from your Apple Account and unlocks it on this device. You need to be signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with, and online.
I got a new iPhone or iPad. Do I buy it again?
No. Install the game, open REQUISITION and tap RESTORE PURCHASES.
Where do I change themes?
SETTINGS > THEME on the main menu. Some themes are earned by reaching later nights; the three Rooftop Clearance themes come with the purchase.
Refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com; the developer can’t issue refunds directly.
SAVES AND GAME CENTER
Is my progress backed up?
Your progress is saved on the device, with a second copy kept in the app’s own storage in case the first is ever lost, and both are included in your normal iPhone or iPad backup. It isn’t synced between devices. Deleting the app deletes your progress; the purchase can always be restored.
Game Center isn’t signing in.
The game asks once at launch. If you dismissed it, sign in from the Settings app > Game Center, then relaunch the game. The game plays fully without Game Center.
Can I reset everything?
SETTINGS > RESET ALL PROGRESS, tapped twice to confirm. It wipes scores, progress, daily history and settings on this device. It does not remove your purchase.
TROUBLESHOOTING
A swipe pulls down Notification Center or leaves the game.
The game asks iOS to give it the first swipe from each screen edge, so leaving the game takes two swipes. If one swipe still leaves, check that Guided Access isn’t on.
It’s warm, or the battery drops fast.
Turn on BATTERY SAVER in Settings. It runs the game at 30 frames a second and turns off the glow.
The motion or flashing is too much.
Settings has REDUCED MOTION (no screen shake, calmer effects), OUTLINES (a white ring around every threat) and BIG HUD (larger numbers). The game also follows your device’s own Reduce Motion setting.
Sound is off.
Check the silent switch and volume first, then Settings in the game. Sound, music and haptics have separate switches.
